No appointment necessary. We offer walk-in services. You can come in anytime during our office hours, and our medical team will see you immediately. The entire process is quick, and you won’t have to wait long.

A valid ID, passport, or foreign national identity document (NIE) and a passport-sized photograph. Upon completion of all the tests, we will provide you with the requested certificate. If you wear glasses, please inform our doctor so they can be included on the certificate.

Medical and psychological tests. Our doctor will examine your vision, hearing, and reflexes, monitor your blood pressure, and, depending on the case, perform other complementary tests to accurately assess your health. You will also undergo psychological tests to assess your ability to safely operate a recreational boat.

It won’t take you more than 15 minutes to complete all the medical and psychological tests. Of course, this will depend on your health status at the time of the exam.

The validity of the medical certificate is 3 months.

Every 5 years. The process is always the same: undergo a medical and psychological examination to obtain your medical certificate. With this certificate in hand, you can present it to the nautical school or through the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Food.

You must submit it at a nautical school or online through the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Food, paying a fee. Within 5 days, you can download the final certificate in PDF format to print or save on your mobile device.
