Medical certificate for
obtaining a driver's license

You only need to bring your valid DNI (National Identity Document) or NIE (National Identity Document). (The DGT does not accept passports). You don’t need to bring a photograph, as we take it at the center ourselves, free of charge. Upon completion of all the tests, we will provide you with the Psychophysical Aptitude Report, which you must present to your driving school. If you wear glasses, you must inform our doctor so they can be included in the report.

We offer walk-in care at our medical center. You can come in anytime during our regular business hours, and our medical team will see you immediately, without waiting.

Our doctor will examine your vision, hearing, and reflexes, monitor your blood pressure, and, depending on the individual case, perform other complementary tests to accurately assess your health.

You’ll have to pass two psychometric tests:

Anticipation Speed ​​and Bimanual Coordination. The first will measure your ability to perceive speed and trajectory, as well as your self-control. You’ll have to estimate the speed and distance of a moving object. It’s ideal for testing your reflexes!

The second will measure your ability to coordinate both arms simultaneously, essential for safe driving. You’ll use a controller with both hands to keep an object on a path, testing your dexterity and precision.

It won’t take you more than 20 minutes to complete all the medical and psychological examinations. Of course, this will depend on your health.

The medical certificate is valid for three months from the date of the checkup. However, if for any reason you need a copy and your certificate has not yet expired, we will make one for you immediately, free of charge, and the original date will be kept.
