Renewal of driving license

You can renew any of these driving licenses:

• AM, A, A1 and A2 License: Motorcycle and Moped

• Permit B: Cars and light vehicles
• Permit BTP (now B), Taxi: Special Vehicles
• Permit C1 and C: Truck
• Permit D: Buses

The required documentation is:

• Valid DNI or NIE

• Previous driver’s license (if you have one)

We take care of all the processing with the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) without you having to go to La Campana. We will hand you a Provisional (Temporary Driving Authorization) that has a 6-month expiration date. In the meantime, traffic will manufacture your new driving license that will arrive at your home in approximately 2 months, without you having to worry about anything else.

In addition, if you have any problems receiving the final license, we will make the claim ourselves. We communicate directly with the DGT and depending on their response, we will solve the problem for you in a few weeks, at no cost.
